Rhianna studied in Albury NSW and graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor Of Podiatric Medicine. Rhianna was awarded a Dean’s award for academic excellence during her studies and also graduated with an Executive Graduate Dean’s Award.
During her time at university, Rhianna completed her placements in both Melbourne and the Geelong region in Victoria; gaining experience in the private and public health sectors. These experiences nourished her development and knowledge in all aspects of podiatric practise.

Rhianna is originally from Northern Victoria. Before joining the Innovation Podiatry team, Rhianna was previously working as a podiatrist in multiple locations across country Victoria providing essential podiatric services to those in rural areas. During her time in this position, Rhianna gained experience treating a variety of patients and conditions including general nail care, ingrown toe nails, diabetes foot assessments, wound care and biomechanical assessments and intervention.

Rhianna’s interest in podiatry stems from her love for classical ballet. Growing up, Rhianna practised Cecchetti Classical Ballet as a student for fifteen years and has attended multiple workshops with Jason Colemans Ministry Of Dance and The Australian Ballet Company. Her passion for all things ballet has extended into her professional career as a podiatrist. She enjoys working with dancers to strengthen their technique, provide footwear advice and assist in rehabilitating dance specific injuries.

In her spare time, Rhianna enjoys keeping active and regularly practises Pilates, Barre and Yoga classes. She loves the sunshine and enjoys long days at the beach and exploring the beautiful surrounds of the Sunshine Coast.

Other areas of interest:

Diabetes foot assessments- Rhianna is very passionate about diabetes education. She enjoys working with her diabetes patients to gauge a thorough understanding of their current foot health and formulate a tailored management plan to prevent diabetes related foot complications in the future.

Geriatric care- Rhianna loves working with older clients and providing regular routine podiatric care. These consults may include nail care, hyperkeratosis and corn debridement and routine neurovascular assessments.

Footwear- advocate for fashionable but supportive/comfortable footwear.

Biomechanics- Rhianna enjoys assessing lower limb function and assisting in the rehabilitation of podiatric injuries.
